TDMHA - Team Profile Instructions

2005 – 2006 Season

 

Information Needed for Team Profiles …

 

We would like to have each team profiled on the website as soon as possible.

 

Simply email us at webmaster@tavistockminorhockey.com and include the following information in your email: (first check the "teams" area of the website as some information has already been provided for your team profile already)

 

  1. Name of your team (example Tyke LL #1 or Bantam Rep)

 

  1. Players names: please submit only the first names and last inital of players for Internet privacy reasons. (ie Tom J or David L.)

 

  1. Team management names & roles: including coach, trainers, assistants, parent rep etc

 

  1. Team goals: a brief paragraph summarizing the goals of the team

 

  1. Tag Line: a one sentence tag line that is often used by the team for motivation or an inspiring line you would like to share with the rest of the hockey community.

 

  1. Contact information: the name, phone number & email address of the person that is the main contact for the team as far as communicating with outside centers for rescheduling games etc. This could be the coach or manager or assistant coach. This contact information will go on the "teams" page of the website.

 

 

The same format will be used for each team and unfortunately we cannot include standings or individual accomplishments in the profile.

 

Once the team pictures are available we will update the profiles … there is no need for you to send a picture.

 

One of the coaching staff members, a parent rep or a parent of one of the players can submit the profile as long as the coach has reviewed and approved the text. All team profiles will be maintained on the site as archives for the future enjoyment of all!

Team Goals:

The Titan Novice AE team goal this year was to represent Tavistock Minor Hockey with a team that is dedicated to sportsmanship, hard work, and displays their true "love of the game". We have grasped the concept of "sharing the puck" and because of this have played some very inspired and entertaining hockey. On this team the player that makes the save, the great defensive play, makes the pass for the assist or scores the goal are all equal; no one is better than the other. We are a TEAM and when we put each part of our game together, we are a TEAM that is hard to beat. On behalf of the coaches and players, I would like to thank the parents for their dedication to the game we love to play, and for "keeping it fun".
