2013-2014 Coaches Application

Body-Checking Has Been Removed from Peewee Levels and Below

A modification to playing rule 6.2b was approved, removing body-checking from Peewee within leagues governed by Hockey Canada. This change is effective beginning September 2013.

As a result we will be offering a Body Positioning Clinic which will emphasize angling, balance, timing, anticipation and using the boards properly. This program is recommended for Atom and Peewee age players as it will begin to prepare them for the introduction of body checking in upcoming years
